Primary Responsibilities: Ensure all end-to-end client readiness operational readiness deliverables are executed to support critical client onboarding activities with new product introduction, and on-going management of the operation Drive continuous alignment and quality around the delivery of Optum Rx's product and services to optimize execution across onboarding/implementation through operational support Utilize data and technology solutions to streamline processes and automate operations across existing product portfolio Influence the development of the Optum Rx readiness model to ensure our cross-functional leaders truly understand operational and technical readiness to support Peak Season execution and effect End to End Rx Member communication strategy Drives adherence and accountability upstream and downstream for data input areas into the end-to-end process Drives the development of requirements that support the highly complex end-to-end products and services within Rx for flawless Consumer Experience and Communication strategy Responsible to lead the cross-functional readiness activities, to execute a standard readiness methodology, ensuring operational/technology assessments are in place to support Optum Rx's large scale client onboarding process that drives Consumer experience related to Sales/Process & Optimization, Eligibility Requirements (Benefits, Clinical and System Mapping), Billing (Services and Performance Guarantees, and Reporting Provide leadership to maintain SLA and performance metrics to excel Optum operational readiness process across the Rx product portfolio with an emphasis on Rx member communication and configuration Work cross-functionally Rx to drive visibility to customer issues and drive process improvement projects to reduce defects and continue to improve processes to reduce implementation cycle time and ongoing operational support costs Take ownership of position by proactively leading business process change and driving performance improvements and transformation projects within Optum Rx's existing product portfolio. This includes improving implementation times, making service repeatable and reliable, ensuring reporting and feedback rigor with the customer and internal stakeholders Evaluates available data to identify and develop practical alternatives to complex situations.
Summarizes conclusions and recommendations.
Present pros and cons of recommendations to leadership Gains a deep understanding of specific product areas across Optum Rx to drive cross-functional decision-making to ensure sound business decisions This position requires sound ability to facilitate through customer issues, service provider issues, and business process decisions. This position should also be focused on gaining consensus with key team members to identify the best business solution possible to improve our onboarding process. The role will be required to make resource and organizational design decisions as they develop the future state of the business. Required Qualifications: BA/BS degree 5+ years experience in a fast paced strategic environment that includes technical design, business process analysis, business application implementation and associated skills Matrix partner management experience Experience in managing a team Change Management Experience Skill set to facilitate cross functional team through major process and business changes Perform trending and statistical analysis to make tough business decisions Utilize data to influence key process decision makers Excellent judgment, problem resolution, team building, negotiation, conflict resolution, budgeting, decision-making, & experience working under continual deadline pressure Strong analytical and problem solving skills Strong communication and facilitation skills Strong executive presence Excellent time management & scheduling skills Excellent risk planning skills & risk identification, quantification, & response planning skills Proven ability to motivate & influence Experience working in multiple areas of business Six Sigma certification and process expertise (BB preferred) Careers with Optum.
