As a Pension Administration Analyst, you will be making a valuable difference every day to our high-profile client organizations. In this role you will perform recurring plan administration services and work assignments for clients' defined benefit plans with minimal supervision and will assist with project work and other ad hoc client support services as requested.

We've worked closely with clients to develop some of the most advanced benefit design techniques currently in use. We combine expertise in retirement and investment consulting to support organizations worldwide in designing, managing, administering and communicating all types of retirement plans.

**The Role**

As a Pension Analyst you will:

+ Prepare moderately complex benefit calculations and trust instructions

+ Collect, manipulate, reconcile and review participant data identifying and resolving issues as they arise

+ Answer plan provision questions

+ Exhibit ability to perform advanced calculations or analysis and gain in-depth understanding of specific areas

+ Work cooperatively with other team members (Willis Towers Watson plan administrators, actuaries) to help get jobs done and to ensure unified delivery of services

+ Use thorough understanding of the plan design (e.g., coverage levels, and options, eligibility, enrollment/change, termination procedures)

+ Follow and update documentation materials as directed

+ Maintain complete and accurate work papers and audit trails

+ Create internal administration manuals for clients if one does not exist (e.g., obtain and copy SPDs, plan documents, sample letters, sample calculations etc.)

+ Apply Professional Excellence concepts and use tools to ensure efficient and quality output/service delivery, e.g., do, check, review

+ Serve as a contact with clients' human resources personnel

+ Adhere to plan documents and government regulations in administering plans

+ Contribute to team discussions and training activities

+ Be accountable to team members for agreements and promises

+ Work independently asking for assistance when required

+ Train and review the work of less experienced Pension Specialists

**The Requirements:**

+ Bachelors degree in mathematics, statistics or any other major with significant quantitative course work

+ One or more years of experience preparing routine and manual benefit calculations using established procedures

+ Experience interpreting routine and moderately complex plan provisions

+ Solid mathematical and analytical skills

+ Work experience that demonstrates strong technical, and/or client service and leadership skills

+ Passion for solving problems and sharing solutions to exceed the standards of the client

+ Ability to be a self-starter and work independently, but also cooperatively in a close team environment

+ Ability to prioritize and have good attention to detail

+ Excellent oral and written communication skills

+ Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel (i.e. pivot tables, lookup functions, etc.)
